Who is this for?

The workshop is for beginners who have either gone through a previous Rails Girls workshop, or someone who has gone through at least three Rails Girls Tutorials. (You may go through these tutorials by yourself, in your own time, you don't need to have gone through them at an official event.) If you're feeling like you're up for more, this is for you.

Rails Girls is open to people of all ages, but we prefer those 13 or under to come with a guardian.

How much does it cost?

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, nothing! It's free! Just show up with a laptop and enthusiasm to learn! We can help with public transport costs if you need, too.

Can men attend?

Yes, but you must be accompanied by an interested woman. Also, women and non-binary folk are given priority.

Do you have a Code of Conduct?

Yes - it is here. We expect all attendees, coaches, sponsor representatives, volunteers and organisers to behave respectfully so everyone has a great time. If you run into any issues, don't hesitate to contact any one of the organisers.

I can program! May I help?

Yes! We're also looking for coaches to to help out with teaching and sharing the passion for coding. Coach application forms can be found here.
