Rails Girls has been in Tallinn two times already - first in March and then in September 2012. If you want to read more about the past events click here.

Rails Girls aims to give tools for girls and women to build their ideas.

You learn designing, prototyping and coding with the help from our coaches.

How much does the workshop cost? Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!

Who is this aimed for? Women of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We’ve had people of all ages taking part. Most of the program is run in english and please bring your laptop.

How do you choose the attendees? We want a diverse group of people who are motivated and curious about learning.

Can men attend? Yes, but you need to be accompanied by an interested lady. Also, girls are given a priority.

I know how to program - How can I help? We’re also looking for people to be coaches. We’ll have a two-three hour workshop before the event to walk you through the curriculum. Email us

Tech Sisters

Tech Sisters is an Estonian non-profit organization with a goal to get more women excited about technology and IT.


Tallinn is the capital of Estonia, which got just named the best e-Government by UN, so it is no wonder Tallinn has decided to support the event.


Tallinn is known for "most startups per capita" and it's well known technology community. Garage48 HUB is the "startup house" of Estonian tech and startup community. Our main goal is to facilitate interaction among the community and offer a place where to meet, work, learn and chill-out.
