Both :) Depending on the speakers and coaches that will support this event. We will try to include as many Macedonian speakers and coaches as we can.
How much does the workshop cost?
Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!
Who is this aimed for?
Women of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We’ve had people of all ages taking part. Most of the materials are in English, but small group work is done in Macedonian. Please bring your laptop.
Can men attend?
Men are most welcomed as a participants' +1.

Fun evening with snacks & drinks! Great opportunity for networking and getting to know the other students and coaches. Please bring your laptop so we can install Ruby on Rails for you.

Saturday is the hands-on workshop day. We kick off the day with light breakfast and coffee. You will need the fuel to make those brain cells working hard! Make sure you tell us in your application if you have any special diatery requirements.

Welcome & Sponsors Presentations
We announce the schedule for the day and our sponsors will introduce themselves and give brief presentations. We will then split everyone into pairs and assign coaches to start the hands-on workshop.
|11:00||Hands-on, Workshop Part 1
Get to know Ruby on Rails with some exercises on TryRuby and kick-start your first web application on Rails with this guide.
|12:30||Lunch & Lightning Talks
Our coaches will give presentations on their backgrounds and involvements in the software engineering world. We make sure this is a great mix of people with various knowledge and expertise. You will hear a range of short and exciting talks from juniors to seniors.
We will have lunch provided but please make sure you tell us in your application if you have any special diatery requirements.
|13:30||Workshop Part 2
Continue working on your web application with your coach. We dedicate this time to really get your head around how to code and make your app the way you want it to be. It takes a lot of concentration but it's super fun! We will have plenty of coffee and sugar to power you through this part of the day.
