Rails Girls is back in Melbourne! During the free one-day workshop, we'll dive into the magical world of Ruby on Rails.

A great starting point if you're new to coding, web applications, and Ruby! You'll learn designing, prototyping, and coding with the help from our coaches. You don't need any previous coding experience. You do need your own laptop, curiosity, and a sprinkle of imagination!

How much does the workshop cost? Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!

Who is this aimed at? Women of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We've had people of all ages taking part. Please bring your laptop.

Can men attend? Yes, but women are given priority.

Is there a Code of Conduct? Yes! Rails Girls Melbourne is dedicated to a harassment-free workshop experience for everyone. As part of Ruby Australia we are covered by the Ruby Australia Code of Conduct.

I know how to program - How can I help? We're also looking for people to be coaches. We'll have a one-hour workshop before the event to walk you through the curriculum. Email us
