How much does the workshop cost? Nothing, it's free! You just need to be interested!
Who is this aimed for? Women of any age from 16 onwards, with basic knowledge of working with a computer.
What shall I bring along? Please bring your laptop. Lunch and snacks may be provided, according to the budget availability, funded by our sponsors.
Can men attend? Yes, but you need to be accompanied by an interested lady. Also, girls and whomever recognizes himself/herself as a female are given a priority when selecting the eligible applications. The reason for this choice, is to create a community among women in the IT sector; considered that such an environment can not create spontaneously, due to the low amount of women involved.
I know how to program - How can I help? We’re always looking for people to volunteer as coaches. We’ll have a two-three hour workshop before the event to walk you through the curriculum. Please, email us if interested.
I do not know how to program - How can I help? We’re also looking for an official volunteer photographer. Please, email us if interested. Beside that, any help in spreading our news updates among your social networking coontacts, will be highly appreciated! Thanks :)
How many places are available? Our venue can host a maximum of 80 attendees but we also limit the number to 5 per each volunteer coach.
How does the application acceptance process work? The applications are selected giving priority to women who need the acquired knowledge to take life(or career)-changing decisions.
