This free event is for beginner women who want to learn more about coding and building things. We will learn about the web, prototyping, basic programming and get introduced to the world of technology.
This workshop is intended for people new to programming, or new to Ruby on Rails. No prior experience is required. We have room for 50 participants, so get your application in early! Questions? Email us!

How much does the workshop cost? Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!
Who is this aimed for? Women of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We’ve had people of all ages taking part. There is no age limit for this event, but children younger than 14 should be accompanied by their parents (gender of the children or parent does not matter!). Please make sure to make a note about it in the application form. The event and talks will be conducted in English. Please bring your laptop.
Can men attend? Yes, but you need to be accompanied by an interested lady. Also, girls are given a priority.
Can I bring a Mac/Windows/Linux laptop? Yes, a laptop of any operating system works. You just need to have a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox) installed.
Is there a dresscode? Nope, just wear whatever that's comfortable for you.
I know how to program - How can I help? We're also looking for people to be coaches. We’ll have a two-three hour workshop before the event to walk you through the curriculum. Sign up or email us .
