It's time to get excited!
We are organizing a Rails Girls workshop as part of a Junction hackathon. Hackathons are usually only attracting hardcore coders but we believe that coding is for everyone. Therefore, we want to give an opportunity for women with no or little previous experience a chance to learn!
INSTRUCTIONS TO FIND THE VENUE: The address is Vilhonvuorenkatu 11D, the entrance is through inner yard which can be accessed through Sörnäisten rantatie.
You learn designing, prototyping and coding with the help from our coaches.
You need your own laptop, curiosity and a sprinkle of imagination!

How much does the workshop cost? Nothing, it's free! You just need to be excited!
Who is this aimed for? Women of any age with basic knowledge of working with a computer. We’ve had people of all ages taking part. All you need to take with you is open attitude and your laptop.
I know how to program - How can I help? We’re also looking for people to be coaches. You don't need to be a Ruby on Rails guru, we're looking for people who know basics of web development and have the right attitude. Email us
